Welcome to RubyAndRails Conf 2010

Formerly known as RubyEnRails, this years edition of the RubyAndRails Conf will again be a two day conference. Other than the previous editions, the conference will take place at Pakhuis de Zwijger behind Central Station in Amsterdam.

This year we will be hosting the RubyAndRails Rumble for the second time! The RERR is a competition in which a team of two has to try to finish a small assignment by using Ruby/Rails and relating plugins and tools. The competition will be held on the second day of the conference.

With this competition you can show your programming skills and maybe promote your own shop! At the end of the day you will be judged on assignment completion core technical qualities, creativity and useability by both a selected jury and your peers. Well… Ok, not exact. The news is that Rick Olson will present at RubyAndRails 2010 about Git being used as a NOSQL db! We all know Rick Olson, or Technoweenie. Check out his talk here.
